To answer this question, author Maura Roan McKeegan presents a biblical typology for children. Seeing familiar stories from the Old and New Testaments placed side by side, children can discover at an early age what St. Augustine meant when he said that \u201cthe New Testament lies hidden in the Old, and the Old is unveiled in the New.\u201d In her latest book,\u00a0<em>Beloved Son: Joseph and Jesus<\/em>, the author present the story of Joseph, son of Jacob, and his journey: from being a beloved son to a slave and then to the liberator of the brothers who betrayed him\u2014alongside Jesus\u2019s life, death, and Resurrection. Through Joseph and Jesus, the book seeks to teach children to learn to trust God, no matter where He leads obedience to God\u2019s plan can lead to truly unexpected places.
