One chapter is over but a new one will begin,&#8221; he added. &#8220;All the tools I have in my power like music, social media platforms, a microphone- everything God has given me now is for his kingdom. Thank you, Puerto Rico, and I hope you will walk with me in this new beginning and I hope you remember something very important: don&#8217;t follow any person. I am human. For all the people who follow me, follow Jesus Christ, he is the way, the truth and the life.&#8221; Daddy Yankee, whose real name is Ram\u00f3n Rodr\u00edguez, was a true<em> reggaeton<\/em> legend and had one of the most successful musical careers in Latin American history. He owes his collaboration with Luis Fonsi the 2017 hit &#8220;Despacito,&#8221; which became the first Spanish-language song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot chart. After just 97 days, the official video had already been viewed a billion times on Youtube.
